Diving Internship Places Available:

To maintain high quality training we limit the amount of interns to a maximum of 6. All interns will be living in the same house for free. The Divemaster DSD Leader internship program to choose depends upon your current level of certification. Find that level below and you will see the time commitment and price.

Divemaster DSD Leader Internship Time Period:

Open Water Diver                           65 days                  JD 2100

Advanced Open Water Diver         50 days                JD 2000

Rescue Diver                                     35 days               JD 1900

You may be able to finish the course work sooner but gaining experience is the most important (and fun) part of the internship. The length of the internship will allow you to reach the required 60 logged dives minimum. If you are certified with an agency other than PADI, we can convert your current certification to the PADI system with no additional time or expense.

What’s included

When you arrive, accommodation, course fees from your certification level up to Divemaster DSD Leader, diving, equipment use, and staff lunches on the boat are included in this adventure. However, breakfast, dinner, flights, visas, and insurance are not included. The cost of your adventure is determined by the time you spend here and the certification with which you begin.

Most who fly into Amman will be able to obtain a 30 day visa on arrival for JD 40. This can be extended in Aqaba for an additional 60 days for free. However, if you have a flight that arrives in Aqaba, there is no visa fee for citizens of most nations.

Note that thecost for the internship may appear high; however, it is an all-inclusive package of housing, diving, certification costs, and PADI training materials for your courses. PADI requires that each Divemaster candidate must own a personal copy of an RDP®, an eRDP-ML®, pocket mask, whistle, compass, an underwater watch and/or computer, and surface signaling device. We can assist you in obtaining these items.

It is recommended that you budget JD 400 per month for food shopping (depending on appetite!) and going out. Food stores are nearby. Please realize that by joining this diving adventure you are not guaranteeing your certification in any courses since PADI course certification is a result of completing/passing required coursework, completing dives and/or examinations.
